FAQ
Frequently asked questions about use, results and reuse.
Are the scenarios predictions of the future?
No. They are exploratory scenarios — plausible possible futures, not forecasts. Their purpose is not to hit the one right future, but to span the spectrum of the possible and enable more robust decisions.
What does “level of provocation” mean?
It controls how far the scenarios depart from the present. Many pictures of the future are really just an extended today; low stays close to the trend, high deliberately includes surprises and disruptions — that is how real alternatives emerge.
Where does the data come from, and how reliable are the scenarios?
The foundation is a curated factor base, current signals and scientific sources; the axes are derived from them. Every set can be traced back to its data status and parameters. The scenarios are reliable as consistent thinking models, not as statements of fact.
Can I bring in my own data?
In the basic version, the scenarios are built from our data base; in the higher tiers, the process can be enriched with your own material and tailored to your context. This capability is being expanded step by step.
May I use the results in teaching, consulting or publications?
Yes. Because every set is versioned and traceable to its foundation, it is well suited for teaching and research. Please label the scenarios as exploratory and AI-assisted — as food for thought, not as a forecast.
