The input parameters explained
Time horizon, industry, region, level of provocation and the fine-tuning options — what they do and how to choose them.
Four inputs determine the result. The time horizon sets the range (short 1–5, medium 5–10, long beyond 10 years); the industry selects field and terminology; the region sets the context (initially Germany, expanding step by step).
The level of provocation is the real fine-tuning: on low, the scenarios stay close to a continuation of today; on medium, they draw plausible yet clearly different futures; on high, they deliberately admit surprises and disruptions — real alternatives instead of an extended today. Optionally, the frame can be sharpened via perspective, guiding question or scenario type.
